Kevin Howard

Kevin Howard is a native Texan and a graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre at Texas Tech University.  At Texas Tech, Kevin was a leader in the Theatre Arts department as President of the Theatre Fraternity, Alpha Psi Omega and the recipient of the prestigious “Ronald Schulz Outstanding Theatre Student” Award.



After graduation, Kevin moved to Dallas where he performed at many local theatres in Dallas/Fort Worth Area and assisted local casting directors. He soon relocated to New York City where he performed his original one man show, “Earbobs Always Hang South” in many local cabarets and theatres in New York and around the country. He garnered two Manhattan Association of Cabaret Awards for that show.



Returning to Dallas, he became the leading casting director of television, film and commercials. Throughout his long casting career, Kevin has cast literally thousands of commercials, has worked with noted directors such as Oliver Stone and Spike Lee, and became the leading authority of talent in the Southwest.  Along with casting, Kevin also appeared in feature films, commercials and television show as an actor, and also directed many theatrical productions. While in Texas, Kevin was also the producer/director of The Miss Texas Pageant live telecast.

Kevin moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career and to work in commercial casting.  While in Los Angeles, he appeared in national commercials and performed with an Improv comedy troupe, while working in commercial casting and production.

Kevin has returned to Dallas to be with his family.  He currently is casting commercials, teaching and coaching young actors and directing young actor theatrical productions. He can also be seen in the first season of the new “Dallas” series.
